We worked with our partners at GoodBrand & Company to create Dear Cadbury, a fresh new take on online corporate responsibility reporting. The report broke away from the orthodox way of presenting this information in order to engage a broader audience.
The report took the form of a highly interactive site. It included separate journeys for professional and public audiences, using authentic materials to show how on a day-to-day basis Cadbury is responding to its sustainability challenges and opportunities. The site was filled with interactive elements, videos and animation. The 'Commitment Tree' portion of the site allowed visitors to make pledges to improve their environmental habits in the coming year. There was also a blog and feedback section that allowed visitors to raise their concerns directly and hear what Cadbury had to say.
We built many of the interactive elements of Dear Cadbury using Flash but there was also extensive back-end coding and database development involved. Special attention was given to accessibility with a fully accessible HTML version of the site also created.
