What Are They Worth?

Radio 4 ran two documentaries and one debate, covering a range of aspects related to what pay rates are for different professions and how they should be determined. Is the distribution of pay too narrow or too wide? Are some occupations overpaid or underpaid and what, if anything, should be done about it? We have developed an interactive survey to expose these questions and collect opinions.

The survey allows users to share their views on what they think twelve key professions get paid and what they think they should get paid. After submitting their views the user is presented with the information on the actual figures for the salaries of these professions as well as dynamically generated graphs that reflect the general opinion of submitters.
